What should my organizational structure look like?
Ensure your organizational structure is also configured in Muto.
Companies
The highest level of your organizational structure should be labeled under "companies". Every (part of a) organisation with a different VAT number needs to be set up as a separate company.
Cost centers
Cost centers are the lower levels division, departement, team or any other unit to which a cost can be booked. Each cost center requires a unique code in Muto. Employees, assets and locations can all be linked to a cost center.
Locations
Locations has a similar purpose as cost centers. The biggest difference: locations can only be linked to assets while cost centers can be linked to both employees and assets.
