How to Manage Your Settings in Muto
Your settings in Muto let you customize the platform to fit your organization’s needs. From updating company details to user management, settings ensure everything runs smoothly.
Access Settings
- In the left-hand navigation, scroll to the bottom.
- Click the ⚙️ Settings icon under Organisation.
- The Settings Menu will open.
Update Organisation Details
- Go to Organisation Details.
- Update information such as: Company name, Currency, Energy units, ...
- Click on "Save changes"
Manage Users & Permissions
- In Settings → Users & Permissions, you can:
- Add or remove team members.
- Check the Status
- Assign roles (Admin or User).
- An Admin can edit or delete users
Connections
You’ll see an overview of your active and deleted connections. To activate a new connection, simply click on “+ Activate connection”.
Companies
In Settings → Companies, you can add companies that you want to report on, link assets, employees, ...
Cost centers
In Settings → Cost centers, you can add and manage cost centers for reporting purposes, as well as link relevant assets, employees, and companies.
A “cost center” is an object to which costs are booked. It might refer to a division, department, team, or any identifiable unit within an organization that is responsible for incurring costs, but may not directly generate revenue.
Mobility categories
In Settings → Mobility categories, you can add and manage mobilty categories for reporting purposes. You can also assign a specific mobility category to an employee during their creation, ensuring accurate categorization for that individual. (For example: Cat A, Cat B, Cat C or Cat 1, Cat 2, ...)
Work locations
In Settings → Work locations, you can add and manage work locations for your employees.
A work location is linked to the employee while a location (Or other cost carriers) is linked to an asset. A location can also function as a cost carrier or a parking.
Other cost carriers (Locations)
In Settings → Other cost carriers, you can add and manage cost carriers for example a warehouse, Parking 1, ...
