# How to deactivate and reactivate employees?

## An employee can be deactivated if this person is no longer working for your company.

- How to deactivate an employee? 
    1. Navigate to the “Employee” page in the sidebar on the left side of the screen.
    2. Navigate to the specific employee.
    3. Click on the three dots … on the line of the employee’s name.
    4. Click on “Deactivate”.
    5. Enter the correct dates.
    6. Click on “Deactivate *employee name*” in the lower right corner.  
       ***This employee has status “inactive” now.***

 

- How to reactivate an employee? 
    1. Use the global search sidebar and enter the deactivated employee’s name.
    2. Click on the employee.
    3. Click on the three dots … at the upper right corner or the status label below this employee's name.
    4. Click on “Reactivate”.
    5. Enter the correct “date in service”.
    6. Delete the date in “date out of service”.
    7. Verify if this employee is entitled for mobility.
    8. Click “Reactivate *employee’s name*”.  
       ***This  employee is reactivated.***
